With 15 years of experience in her field, Ms. Nunes specializes in health law and regulatory compliance. As the director of the Quality and Regulatory Compliance Department at Clovis Community Medical Center, she is responsible for overseeing regulatory compliance and quality risk management according to Joint Commission standards, CMS and the California Department of Public Health for a 109-bed facility. Ms. Nunes has been working as a registered nurse for 15 years in the emergency, postpartum and psychiatry departments. She attributes her success to her persistence, drive and education.

Ms. Nunes received her JD from San Joaquin College of Law in 2006, her master of public health with a major in administration from California State University, Fresno and her bachelor's degree in health administration from California State University, Fresno. She became a registered nurse at Antelope Valley College and is a member of the California Society for Healthcare Risk Management, the Nurses Leadership Council, the American College of Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
