CHINO HILLS, CA, April 15, 2009
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Wahoo's Fish Taco, a community mainstay and worldwide pop culture phenomenon since 1988, will host a grand opening event on Sunday, April 19 for their 55th restaurant in Chino Hills, Calif., at The Commons at Chino Hills located at 2505 Chino Hills Parkway. "We are thrilled about the new location at The Commons at Chino Hills," said Wing Lam, co-founder of Wahoo's. "This restaurant will be our fourth in the Inland Empire and it still amazes me that even as we embark on our 20 year milestone, Wahoo's style of food and business philosophy can travel so well across different cities and counties. I look forward to sharing the Wahoo's experience with new customers as well as longtime fans that live in Chino Hills."
The highlight of the grand opening will include the snowboard rail contest, complete with real snow. The rail contest will include some of the top amateur snowboarders. After the contest, Signal Snowboards' pro riders will perform demos. Customers will also have the opportunity to be entered in a raffle to win prizes including a Snowboard from Signal Snowboards and gift cards from Beachworks, as well as gift cards and merchandise, courtesy of Wahoo's.
An official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Wahoo's location will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wing, Ed and Mingo will be joined by business partner Steve Karfaridis.
