He is admitted to the bar of Ohio, Pennsylvania, the United States Tax Court, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims, the U.S. Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court of Ohio and the U.S. District Court of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Strasbaugh brings more than three decades of know-how to his work. He first worked as an associate for Jones Day Reavis & Pogue in 1979, and went on to work for Morgan, Lewis & Bockius and Ballard Spahr LLP. He advanced to chairman of the tax group at Ballard Spahr LLP in 2001 and continues to work for this group as an invaluable partner.

Exhibiting skill and unmatched devotion to his field, Mr. Strasbaugh has nurtured memberships and leadership roles in various organizations, including the American Bar Association, for which he has been chairman of the section of taxation, and the Philadelphia Bar Association, for which he has prospered as chairman of the tax committee, vice-chairman and numerous other roles. Mr. Strasbaugh also served as regent of the American College of Tax Counsel from 2003 to 2009. He has been honored with listings in Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, Who's Who in the East and Who's Who in the World.
