Through music, WCPE will remember and memorialize all the fallen servicemen and servicewomen of the U.S. Armed Forces during Memorial Day weekend, May 24 (2008145) through May 26, 2008 (2008147).
WCPE will be participating in the National Moment of Remembrance, May 26 (2008147) at 1900 hrs (GMT), 3 p.m. (ET). At that time, WCPE will momentarily silence its broadcast in remembrance, reflection and honor of the fallen servicemen and servicewomen. The broadcast will resume with the playing of "Taps."
"To the friends, families and all who remember and mourn our fallen servicemen and servicewomen, we at WCPE stand in proud silence with you, honoring these committed, courageous patriots and all that they gave their lives for," says Deborah S.
