/24-7PressRelease/ -- The new site will sift through the huge number of accessories now available for the iTouch. CEO Pat Hough believes that the site is long overdue. "There are now thousands of accessories available for the iTouch and our job will be to identify and review the very best" he explained.
In addition to physical accessories, like cases and keyboards, the site will also review iTouch applications. Pat Hough agreed that this presents a daunting challenge. "It's practically impossible to download every App for the iTouch - never mind reviewing them all. However we'll try to highlight the very best ones".
The website has already reviewed an application called Pocket Informant. This is a combined calendar and to-do list management system. The short review coupled with the screen shots will help impatient iTouch owners to make up their minds quickly.
Pat Hough points out that the new site should also help application developers. "Many Apps are free - so there's no problem downloading them and trying them out. However, people are more reluctant to download anything that must be paid for - even though the amounts are small. When they read an independent assessment of the App they are more likely to download and buy it."
The site will also look at some of the more exotic accessories available. "The iPhone already has several cool Apps that use the camera and we're looking forward to reviewing them on the new iTouch." Pat Hough also pointed out the iTouch connectivity is not a problem.
"Some people are using the iTouch's lack of connectivity when away from fixed hotspots as an argument against buying one. However, we'll be reviewing several gadgets that will overcome that problem including the MI-FI modem."
