Due to this increase in interest, specialist web design company Pod1 has found itself in the enviable position of having to turn work away. Whilst obviously not complaining about the situation, Pod1 made the decision to create a dedicated "boutique" agency, rather modestly named Brilliant.
The role of Brilliant is simply to focus on the design and development of sites for small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and so take some of the pressure off its big brother, Pod1.
Fadi Shuman, Director and Co-Founder of Pod1 says, "We look at Brilliant as a stream-lined version of Pod1 - still producing high-quality web work but with the focus more on design and build rather than the additional account management and technical services our larger clients require."
The day-to-day running of Brilliant has been placed in the capable hands of Usman Sheikh, the former head of production at Pod1, who takes with him his 10 years of experience in design and build. With the two agencies now operating as separate entities, all clients will benefit from a service, which is tailored to their own specific needs.
Fadi Shuman adds," There is a massive market out there for clients with a limited budget who, quite rightly, still expect high quality websites. This is exactly why Brilliant was created".
Although Brilliant may still be a relatively new agency, the client list already speaks for itself. With previous projects including 6 Broad Street Place, BBC, Cornhill Asset Management, Kamikaze Videos, Lara Croft, Luxury Travel Fair, Bank Renaissance Capital, STA Travel and Swarovski.
