With sophisticated digital cameras now less than $1,000, amateur photographers to the seasoned experts are breaking into the micro stock photography business. Web designers with a limited budget are suddenly interested in web sites like ImageCatalog.com for the simple reason, cheaper images.
Before the emergences of micro stock photography, the stock photo business used to consist of high-end photographs costing hundreds, or even thousands of dollars apiece. Those photos often ended up in websites, brochures or magazine advertisements.

“Customers who were once willing to spend hundreds of dollars on an image are now finding cheaper images on ImageCatalog.com for much less,” said Michael Iwasaki, co-founder of Image Catalog Media Inc. We had one web designer comment to us that she use to pay an average of $100 for a web resolution image. For the same price, she could now buy 100 high quality web stock photos at ImageCatalog.com, continued Iwasaki.
Stock photos on ImageCatalog.com are available for immediate download. Customers can register for a free account and purchase credit packages starting from $10. Each time an image is downloaded, credits are deducted from the customer’s account.
