Fidofinder.com recently reunited a lost Dachshund named Oscar with his owner seventeen days after he went missing. Oscar slipped through the fence in the back yard of his Deer Park, Texas home. He ended up at a local tire store before being picked up by a Good Samaritan. Before Oscar's owner, Anita Bettis, could find him, he was taken home by a family hoping to find his owners. In the end, it was the information on Fido Finder that brought Oscar home. Seventeen days after he was lost, Bettis and Oscar's finders exchanged information using Fido Finder. Bettis had posted Oscar's information on the website and received a call from Oscar's finder. Bettis says she is extremely grateful for Fido Finder's work in finding her beloved pet. Bettis says she recommends Fido Finder to anyone who has lost their dog as it was the only way she could ever have been reunited with Oscar.
When cat owner Cindy Andreosatos of Natick, Massachusetts discovered her cat was missing, she franticly began searching her neighborhood for the lost cat, Stella. The winter weather had been bad for weeks and Stella needed to be brought home soon. After a few days and no sign of Stella, a neighbor who had previously lost her own cat joined in the search. The willing neighbor was aware of TabbyTracker.com and searched the website for Stella. Sure enough, the person who had found Stella had registered her on Tabby Tracker.
