Last Years Wedding Festival and Trade Show a Huge Success
Last year's Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival was a huge success, and according to organizers, the January 2009 version of this now 'annual' Anna Maria Island wedding event, promises to be bigger and even more successful than ever... a fun and informative day for anyone considering getting married on beautiful Anna Maria Island.
There will be over 40 wedding related vendors positioned at 12 different locations around the island, each planning a different aspect of your dream wedding.
Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival
Unlike any other wedding show, trade fair or festival, the Anna Maria Island Wedding Festival will include 40 plus local wedding vendors positioned at some 12 different locations around the Island.
Start the day by registering at the Anna Maria Island Chamber of Commerce. Registrants will be given a gift bag, complete with a map and merchant-specific information.
Last year's wedding fair participants could travel around the island by complementary trolley or limo and tour the wedding related businesses of choice... and this year the same first class treatment will be provided!
The local wedding merchants we spoke to said, the 2009 Anna Maria Island wedding festival experience will include first-hand tours of various honeymoon suites, wedding and reception venues, tastings with caterers and bakeries, and time with local wedding photographers and musicians.
According to organizers, although some of the 2009 wedding festival details are still in the planning stages, last year there were two New York-style fashion shows going on throughout the day featuring the latest in wedding attire, hair styles and make-up... and the Sandbar Restaurant's 'sunset celebration' topped off the event with everyone welcome to enjoy a champagne toast, wedding cake and grand prize drawing for an Anna Maria Island Dream Beach Wedding Package.

Pre registration is $7.00 per person; $10.00 per person the day of the event.
You can pre register up to January 23rd, at 5:00 pm.
Registration fee along with visiting at least 9 out of the 12 location sites automatically enters you into the prize drawings.
