This is a super abrasion resistant coating that can be applied to polycarbonate and acrylic sheets, which comes in more than three distinct options.

The best normal abrasion resistant coating on polycarbonate only can achieve 1H, while WeeTect's super abrasion resistant can be more than 2H. Expanding the ability to apply super abrasion resistant coating to other products aims to improve optical properties, while allowing for more customizable options. This will stretch beyond the current firefighting helmet visors to football, motocross or face shields.

For effective application of WeeTect's super abrasion resistant coating, the company has adopted either flow or dip coating technologies. Furthermore, it uses either UV or thermo curing, depending on the type of product.

With this new business strategy, WeeTect aims to make the super abrasion resistant technology available for all market niches for both its OEM and ODM clients. This move has seen the company invest more in the abrasion resistant coating industry.

Also, like in the case of WeeTect helmet visors, the company will continue to consolidate this technology with others to improve the optical properties of surfaces. This will include hydrophobic, anti-glare and UV resistant coating, among other technologies.

For WeeTect anti-fog coating, the two treatments will be applied to opposite sides of the surface. Where, hydrophilic anti-fog coating will be on the inside and super abrasion resistant coating will be on the outside.

WeeTect began applying this super abrasion resistant coating after successful tests in its laboratory in Foshan factory. The laboratory conforms to the ECE324/22.05 requirements.

The company now welcomes both OEM/ODM clients who want face and eye protection accessories with WeeTect's super abrasion resistant helmet visor technology.
