Valerie McChesney joins as controller in finance and accounting, Derek Andruss has accepted the position of vice president of purchasing, Janet Molthcan as sales associate at Verona Reserve in Venice and Greg "Beach" Beauchamp as sales associate at Palma Sola Trace in Bradenton.
Valerie has more than 17 years experience in finance and accounting in the home building industry and was most recently employed with a private homebuilder. She attended Southern Illinois University where she earned her Master of Accountancy and Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Valerie possesses extensive experience in financial reporting, general ledger and cost accounting, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, cash management and accounting controls.
Derek joins the team with over 14 years experience in purchasing and supply chain management and previously worked for a national homebuilding company as the director of purchasing. He has a degree in Integrated Supply Chain and Operations Management from the University of Phoenix. Derek is also proficient in negotiation, value engineering, estimating and process improvement.
Janet has been selling new construction for the past 30 years working for national and local custom home builders in Manatee and Sarasota counties. Janet most recently represented a home builder in the waterfront communities. She has won several awards in her career including Silver Million Dollar Circle Awards, The Front Page Award for Florida and was named the No. 2 salesperson in Florida by a major homebuilder.
Beach, a certified sales professional, has been involved in both new home sales and the general market of real estate since 1993. Most recently, Beach worked at The Inlets as both a real estate agent and Coast Guard Captain, giving boat tours of the neighboring waterways. Beach has been a member of the Ten Million Dollar Club multiple times and a member of the Twenty Five Million Dollar Club twice. He has furthered his sales skills with advancement courses and has also been involved in construction sales.
