/24-7PressRelease/ -- Students who recently earned certificates or degrees from Western Career College will be honored at a graduation ceremony to recognize their achievement at 7 p.m., on Thursday, June 4 at the American River College Stadium, at 4700 Oak Drive in Sacramento.
"Graduation is an exciting time," said Jim Murphy, executive director of the Western Career College Citrus Heights campus. "Our students have taken an important first step by becoming educated in a new career. We share their excitement as they prepare for the next step as they begin to work in their new healthcare and criminal justice professions."
The Western Career College Citrus Heights campus offers nine to 24 month programs leading to a diploma or associate degree in the areas of dental assisting, healthcare administration, massage therapy, medical assisting, pharmacy technology, surgical technology, ultrasound technology, veterinary technology and criminal justice.

About Jenny Boucek - Sacramento Monarchs Head Coach
Sacramento Monarchs Head Coach Jenny Boucek begins her third season with the franchise after finishing the 2008 season with a final record of 18-16 and a sixth consecutive WNBA Playoff berth for the organization. She was named head coach on November 15, 2006, returning to the WNBA after serving as an advanced scout for the NBA's Seattle Super Sonics since 2006. She is the first person in the WNBA to be a player, assistant coach, and head coach.
