Whataburger Announces Free "Breakfast on a Bun"

Customer appreciation giveaway is June 22 from 7 - 10 a.m.



    SAN ANTONIO, TX, June 15, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Whataburger will give away free "Breakfast on a Bun" sandwiches for dine-in or carry-out on Tuesday, June 22, from 7-10 a.m. as part of a "Whataburger Serves" customer appreciation event at all of its 700+ locations.

The Breakfast on a Bun comes with a fresh egg, choice of bacon or pork sausage, and a slice of real American cheese served on a toasted bun. During the event, customers can order it "Ranchero Style" with jalapenos and salsa at no extra charge. The Breakfast on a Bun offer is one sandwich per customer, and the customer must be present to receive a free sandwich.

"Breakfast has often been called the most important meal of the day and we want to give it the attention it deserves with our "Whataburger Serves" free Breakfast on a Bun event," said Rich Scheffler, Whataburger Restaurants, LP Group Director of Marketing. "We offer lots of delicious, convenient options to help people start the day out right and suggest customers try their free Breakfast on A Bun 'Ranchero Style', with jalapenos and salsa."

Whataburger serves breakfast every day from 11 p.m. to 11 a.m. Other breakfast items include taquitos, biscuit sandwiches, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, honey butter chicken biscuits and breakfast platters. Most Whataburger locations are open 24 hours.
