/24-7PressRelease/ - WHITE ROCK, BC, CANADA, March 23, 2006 - White Rock Office Services rented one of its biggest offices to the Colombian Consulate in B.C to hold elections for senate on March 11, 2006.
Around 100 Colombians attended the event and voted. Usually elections for senate do not receive as many votes as elections for president.
White Rock Office Services was honored to be able to have the elections held in one of its offices. The RCMP visited the offices several days before to provide the required security for the elections as well as for the consul general. On the day of the elections the jurors arrived at 7:00 am in the morning, everything was setup and people started to arrive around 9:00 am.
White Rock Office Services is usually closed on Sundays but for this special occasion was opened until 4 pm when elections ended. After the elections ended, White Rock Office Services was honored to offer The Colombian Consulate services that allow the Consul general and the jurors to count the votes and report the results to the proper authorities in Colombia.
The Colombian Consulate was so pleased with the services and the office rented by White Rock Office Services on this special occasion that for the next up coming elections for president, the Colombian Consulate has chosen once again White Rock Office Services as the place to choose offices from.
