PERSHORE, UK, April 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- The new owners of the Angel Inn Hotel, in the heart of Pershore, have totally revitalized this 16th Century coaching inn. First on the menu, a total refurbishment of the premises to create a classic contemporary fusion as seen in the finest Boutique hotels around the world. Now, with sumptuous decor, and an extensive beer and wine list, it's time to create a new Spring menu - applying the same ethos of classic meets contemporary, where old favourites combine with inventive new dishes to create a selection to satisfy all palettes.

Taking their inspiration from famous French chefs the ingredients are farm fresh, being sourced locally. This team is passionate about food and is proud to support local providers - using free range eggs farmed at Upton-Upon-Severn, meat sourced from the best quality butchers in Ledbury and vegetables that are grown and harvested locally. The Angel Hotel's commitment to local growers helps to build solid relationships within the community whilst benefiting the local economy.

The bar, restaurant and Sunday lunch menus have all been transformed and a pianist is in residence every Sunday to provide the perfect accompaniment to a traditional roast lunch. Diners can also select from a revitalized wine and drinks selection, which includes new additions to the cocktail list and bar snacks. Besides preparing new dishes, the Angel chefs also create fresh, homemade chutneys and breads on a daily basis.

Hilary Philpott, General Manager at The Angel Inn Hotel, says: "This is a really exciting time to be at the Angel and I am especially proud to present our new menus. The kitchen team has worked hard at creating delicious dishes that use fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and this is really important to us. Some of our personal favourites include the quality 28-day matured Herefordshire beef, the local spring lamb and the fresh field mushroom starter. Why not come to have a look around and sample some of the new dishes yourself?

"But as they say 'the proof of the pudding is in the eating' (did we mention the delectable sweets and suites) anyway, my advice is to book early - bon appetit."
