Why Current Wisdom Education Is Mostly A Complete Failure! Wisdom Education Is Not At All About Teaching Wisdom, Wisdom Education Is About Unlearning Selfishness!

Wisdom = Pure Self = Emotional Baggage Free Brain = Selfishness Free Brain = Selflessness

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ, August 18, 2013 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Those who claim to be experts on wisdom are the ones who have made wisdom so confusing. They look at wisdom and they find that it consists of its attributes. They examine the attributes and they find that each attribute consists of other attributes. So they define wisdom by its attributes and they define the attributes with other attributes. The very nature of the attributes is such that each attribute has a wide variety of properties and so wisdom remains as confusing as ever. Consider the attribute love. Love is the king of emotions. Love can be despotic, corrupt, egoistic and or selfless or a combination and permutation of all of these.

The word wisdom is understood as the word love, courage, sacrifice etc. The fuzzy word wisdom is redefined with several fuzzy words. So the meaning of wisdom remains as fuzzy as ever.

Every time wisdom research is taken up our wisdom experts keep asking the one and only same question again and again, 'What is wisdom'? We at the 4th R foundation realized that asking the question, 'What is wisdom?' has only taken us round and round in circles. So we asked the question, 'What is wisdom made from?' we got the same answer, 'Wisdom is made from its attributes. We further asked the question, 'What are these specific attributes made from? Each attribute showed up as made from all the other attributes of wisdom. We examined each attribute further and we found that each and every attribute is made up of selflessness! Thus wisdom is made up of selflessness! We have found that wisdom is selflessness.

Not only is selflessness crystal clear; there is no fuzziness about selflessness; selflessness can be defined under the paradigm of science. To research wisdom we need to research selflessness. To teach wisdom we need to teach selflessness. To measure wisdom we need to measure selflessness.

The big question for wisdom research is 'How do we create selflessness'? The answer is very clear, 'Selflessness is an innate property of the pure self'. To create selflessness all we need to do is create pure human beings. A pure human being is an emotional projection of a pure brain. A pure brain is an emotionally super intelligent brain. So the question becomes how do we create emotionally intelligent super mature brains. A super mature emotionally intelligent brain is a brain that has no emotional baggage. Thus to create pure human beings we need to rid the brain of all emotional baggage. It is very clear that wisdom education is brain therapy that cleans the brain of all emotional baggage.

Again we at the 4th R Foundation have tried to teach selflessness and selflessness is as hard to teach as wisdom. Selflessness education is exactly like trying to teach wisdom! We tried putting selflessness in the brain but the brain is already occupied with selfishness! Thus wisdom education is about retooling and eliminating selfishness generating properties of the brain.

The next set of questions we need to answer is 'What is selfishness, how does man become selfish and how can we take this selfish element out of man'? Selfishness is the result of the emotional baggage. Selfishness is an innate projection of an emotionally challenged brain.

Man at birth feels omnipotent and omnipresent. When post birth life is full of love and caring the infant gradually forgets the feelings of omnipotence and omnipresence and begins to enjoy its new life of open spaces, cleanliness, breast sucking, hugs, kisses and new flavors of food. The feelings of omnipotence and omnipresence get pushed deeper and deeper into the unconscious and the child feels selfless; too busy enjoying its humble life of total dependence on its family. The child begins to trust and love its family.

When post birth life is full of pain and neglect the child feels hurt, insulted and begins to feel distrustful of others. As it cannot run away physically; to escape the cruel reality it escapes into a fantasy world. It clings to its feelings of omnipotence and omnipresence, the only secure and happy world it has known for nine long months in the womb. In reality the child is at the mercy of the adults but in its mind it develops feeling that allow it to escape the harsh reality and live in an imaginary fantasy land where it feels important and powerful. Its feelings are similar to those of a deposed king. The king continues to feel like a king. The king feels hurt, angry and selfish. He yearns for much more than he presently possesses and he is selfish regarding what he has. The abused child develops the same selfish and hurt personality.

Feelings of selfishness creep in and become integrated into the physical brain. The child develops feelings of innate selfishness right into adulthood. The physical brain secrets biochemicals that generate selfishness. When the selfish person is told to be selfless it is like telling a nitrogen producing machine to produce oxygen.

It is the physically selfish brain that has to be changed to shed its selfishness. Thus teaching selflessness to teach wisdom does not work. Making the brain free of selfishness creates selflessness. So wisdom education is about unlearning selfishness.

The unconscious hurts and emotional scares have to be brought up into consciousness and relived in the glare of the present reality to free the brain from the past emotionally painful memories that keep playing like broken records.

Wisdom education has little to do with teaching wisdom. It is about removing the hurtful emotional memories from the unconscious brain. Wisdom education is brain therapy that replaces selfishness with selflessness by getting rid of selfishness/emotional-baggage in the brain.

The 4th R Foundation is a non-profit education research foundation that researches informal/emotional intelligence education, human nature, brain, mind, conscientiousness, self, wisdom, life coaching, adult reeducation, shyness, self image, emotional brain baggage etc.
