Why Our Dog Breeding Reform Group Will Succeed

National Dog Breeding Reform Group Emphasizes Cooperation Internally and Externally

We are going to be successful. We are building a team of people who have successfully led enterprises in the business and non-profit worlds. We will work with, not against, the breeding industry."

FORT WORTH, TX, February 26, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- "Not all of us can be of one mind. Our group's members may not have identical ideas on all points. Nevertheless, I do believe that all our members agree: all dogs should be bred with kindness, with humaneness, and using only medically sound practices," said Reform Canine Breeding and Auctions (RCBA) founder, Ron Sturgeon.

Sturgeon continues, "The members of our RCBA are a diverse and talented group of professionals that includes veterinarians, business owners, CEOs, fundraisers, rescue volunteers, dog owners and dog breeders."

NADBR's agreed-upon approach to the issue of inhumane breeding is to concentrate on the supply side of the dog breeding industry, not the sales/commerce/distribution side. The group is still conducting research and talking with stakeholders to find the best path toward its shared goal. The group has an active page on Facebook and regularly updates its growing cadre of volunteers on RCBA's website.

"We are going to be successful because we are going to stay positive and focus our energy on a difficult but attainable goal. We are building a team of dedicated people who have been very successful in leading enterprises in the business and non-profit worlds...and we will work with, not against, the breeding industry," said Hue Grant, NADBR's president.

"It's going to be a worthwhile journey. We hope you reflect on the ideas expressed here and choose to join us as we strive for a goal all of us share," added Grant.
