Wild Women Unite Spectacular! Event Coming to Holiday Valley in Ellicottville; Registration Open Now

The "weekend adult camp for women," Wild Women Unite, will be holding its next event at Holiday Valley resort August 19-20, 2016. Registration is now open online at www.WildWomenUnite.com.

BUFFALO, NY, March 30, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Holiday Valley ski resort in Ellicottville, New York will host 'Wild Women Unite Spectacular!', a networking and activity-based weekend event for women 16 and over. The event is scheduled for August 19-20, 2016; registration is now open, and tickets are selling fast.

New York Site Director Suzanne Suchan explained, "Last year, when I asked attendees for location ideas where to host a future event, Ellicottville came up over and over again. When I reached out to Holiday Valley, every person I spoke with was incredible. That's what sealed the deal on booking it there."

For all Wild Women Unite events, pre-registration is required. When registering, participants choose 4 activities "workshops" from a list, which varies by location. All workshops are taught on an entry level by credentialed instructors. There is a welcoming social Friday evening. Saturday is a full day of outdoor activities, wrapping up with dinner and laughs recapping the day's experiences.

Wild Women Unite Spectacular! kicks off with a tour of Ellicottville Brewing Company (limited to the first 30 registrants), immediately followed by Wild Women Welcoming Social at Holiday Valley from 5-10pm. There, attendees pick up their registration packet, can join in for a "Tasty Bakery Exchange," (where participants can win a prize for the tastiest baked good), cash bar, hors D'oeuvres, a vendor fair (currently accepting vendor applications), a 'Happy Camp' happiness workshop, raffle, and a goody bag (for the first 200 participants).

"These events provide a fun, safe learning environment for women to push their boundaries, try new things, learn something new about themselves, and ultimately enjoy those feelings of accomplishment as they complete each workshop. It's such a blast!" Ms. Suchan said.

"Daughters bring mothers, and mothers bring daughters. There are generations, there are groups of coworkers, groups of best friends, sisters too," Ms. Suchan said. "The one common thing I hear throughout the day, no matter what the weather or the task, is laughter. We may trip up, so what? We laugh and try again! It's also pretty moving to witness so much teamwork between people who were once strangers!"

Included in the event ticket price is Friday's Welcoming Social, Saturday's sunrise "Soul Dance," a workshop led by Darby Ann Balling a Somatic Movement Therapist, the Sky-High Adventure Park's Aerial Adventure and a ride on the Mountain Coaster, lunch, 2 elective afternoon workshops (which offers is a Hilarious Relay Race), and dinner. Tickets are $159.

Options available for an additional cost include learning to use a gun/ shooting workshop at Ellicottville Sportsmen's Club, Sky-High's Forest Climb, Mountain bicycle rental, and Saturday breakfast.

Lodging is not included in the ticket price; however Holiday Valley has extended group rates at both the Inn and The Tamarack Club.

The event is limited to 200 registrants, and is expected to sell out early.
