/24-7PressRelease/ - March 11, 2006 - Two 1st prize winners, both from Pennsylvania, have each received up to $30 worth of wildlife figurines, and not only that, they were both allowed to choose their products. In fact February's winner was able to choose two figurines, as the total value was $30.
Second prize winners were given access to the free downloads section, normally only available to purchasers of wildlife figurines, where they were free to download any or all of the wildlife themed products for use on their computer.
Examples of the downloadable products are-
· E-Calendars, which can be used on your computer. They are made from a spreadsheet program, which simply allows the user to type in certain activities for any day, and then save it. The beauty of the calendars is the magnificent photography by Scotch Macaskill, a wildlife photographer from South Africa. One calendar boasts 12 magnificent African sunsets, one for each month, and the other, 12 close-up photos of some of Africa's most prized and loved wildlife. Value $10ea
· E-mail sound alerts, created from the natural call of some of the worlds more popular wildlife, including the roar of the lions, hooting of the owls, and communication of the dolphins. The sound alerts are a 4-5 second sound file which can easily be downloaded and integrated into Outlook Express for example, so that when you receive an email, you will hear your favourite animals. So far WildFigurines.com has only created the three but is looking to create more in the near future. Value $10ea
· Desktop wallpapers and Adoption certificates are also available, as a thankyou from the World Wild Life fund for WildFigurines.com's continuous support. "Because our customers contribute to the WWF's cause by way of indirectly donating, we thought they should also get something in return," says Dean from WildFigurines.com "we don't just give these away as part of our second prize, everyone who purchases from our web site also gets free access to our downloadable gift store."
The competition runs all year round and has new 1st and 2nd prize winners every month. The draw takes place at the end of the month and winners are notified, usually by the first day of the next month by email.
To enter, visitors only have to visit the Monthly Competition page at Wildfigurines.com by either clicking on the 'Competition' link at the top of every page, the 'Monthly Competition' link on the left hand side of every page, or just look out for the greenback $30 bill. Once there, they simply have to fill out the form at the bottom by entering their first name and email address (last name is optional).
Winners are chosen by a random selection process and once notified 1st prize winners can simply browse the web site, choose their wildlife figurine(s) up to the value of $30 and then enter their chosen products into the 'Contact Us' page, where the prize is processed and shipped within 1 - 3 days. 2nd prize winners are given a secret link by email which will then take them to the gift store where they will find instructions on how to download and use all the gifts.
WildFigurines.com came up with the idea of a monthly competition late in 2005 because they realized people love to win free things, and it adds excitement to the web site.
