"In the first week we have seen a great response," says Generation: Gamerz Founder Thomas Balistreri, "we are very happy so far and the fun is only starting."
The contest asks players to follow clues through each of three stages to arrive at a 'magic word'. "The first stage was easy," says contest designer and Business Manager of Generation: Gamerz Christophor Rick, "now the clues will be tougher and the stages will be longer."
"The contest is designed," continues Mr. Rick, "so that even those who miss or do not complete the first two stages may still win a prize, perhaps even the Nintendo Wii." In addition to the Nintendo Wii the contest prize list includes credits for MMORPG games by Iron Realms (http://www.ironrealms.com) valued at $300 and PC games and DVDs from Alten8 (http://www.alten8.com).
The second stage is set to begin July 5th. "Time is ticking," says Mr. Balistreri, "and things are about to become more difficult, so the sooner you start, the better." Stage 2 ends July 14th and Stage 3 is set to run from July 15th to July 24th with winners to be announced August 1st.
