Mr. Blackburn has more than 43 years of professional experience in litigation and 12 years of experience practicing law with Blackburn Hundley & Domene, PLLC. He is considered to be an expert in civil defense litigation. Mr. Blackburn is the author of an architectural book entitled The Kentucky Houses of Stratton Hammon and a children's book. He plans to publish his third book based on architecture in the near future. He attributes his success to his perseverance, knowledge and wide variety of interests.

Mr. Blackburn obtained both his JD in 1964 and his Bachelor of Arts in English in 1961 from the University of Virginia. In his spare time, Mr. Blackburn serves on the advisory board for the Actors Theatre of Louisville. He is a member of the Louisville Bar Association, the Kentucky Bar Association, the Virginia Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In the next five years, Mr. Blackburn hopes to continue working in the same firm, writing and publishing books.
