Staying true to her motto, "Helping you feel better from the inside out," Ms. Adams has 15 years of professional experience appealing to her clients' sense of wellbeing and style. As the owner of Designs by Winifred, she excels in designing custom jewelry using specific precious and semi-precious stones. She notes that she was inspired to pursue a career in design after her college boyfriend gifted her a bracelet adorned with crystals. Upon receipt of this gift, she delved headfirst into learning about the origins and meanings of stones and crystals. Within a year after creating her first few pieces of jewelry, Ms. Adams' growing collection was featured in shops across Colorado, the Adirondack Mountains and upstate New York. In order to finance her design career, she entered into health and fitness training, which led her to an understanding of body systems and energies; holistic concepts that she now incorporates into her jewelry design.

Ms. Adams attributes her success to her hard work, perseverance and passion for design. She considers seeing people's excitement about her collections to be the most gratifying aspect of her career. She completed coursework in French at the University of Colorado, Boulder and is a member of the American Gem Trade Association and the International School of Gemology. Ms. Adams aspires to strengthen her business in the coming years and expand on her jewelry collections.
