It can replace damaged, lost, broken or defective hand held remote controls for most window air conditioners or mini split systems on the market today. As time goes on the potential need for a replacement remote increases and locating the exact match can be difficult and time consuming, provided it even exists. This new universal remote replaces over 200 different "world famous" brands of window air conditioner remote controls. The packaging provides a detailed list of manufacturers and includes complete programming instructions and programming codes for the top brands. If coding is not available it uses an "auto-search" method by pointing directly to the air conditioner, programming similar to a universal TV remote control.
Features include a large multi-function LCD screen with various menu and control functions. Fan options include automatic, manual, or normal fan modes with louver direction and sweep function. It is available with either a Fahrenheit or centigrade scale and uses standard AAA batteries, not included.
