MADISON, WI, September 11, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Wisconsinmade.com carefully selects only the finest-quality products made in Wisconsin and offers them for sale on the Internet. "John Reichert creates hand-sculpted pewter ornaments with unbelievable attention to detail. His finely-crafted art depicts Wisconsin's history and spirit. John's ornaments fit perfectly into our selection of fine, Wisconsin gifts," said Linda Remeschatis, owner of Wisconsinmade.com.
About Reichert Studios:
John Reichert of Port Washington, Wisconsin has been designing and sculpting fine pewter art since 1988. A Wisconsin-history enthusiast, Reichert painstakingly creates icons of Wisconsin past such as the old lime kilns of Grafton, the 1914 Thiensville Firehouse, the early-20th century fox farms of Ozaukee County, and the Cedarburg nail factory which was the state's first factory to produce round nails. Reichert captures the spirit of Wisconsin's hard-working, pioneer culture in his sculpted depictions of a covered wagon on the Green Bay Trail, Cedarburg's 1876 covered bridge, a Wisconsin county fair, the 1890's octagon barn in Grafton, and the historic, Cedarburg feed mill and flour mill. What is most amazingly is that Reichert sculpts these intricate scenes on 3.5" round, pewter ornaments. As diminutive as these ornaments are, they speak boldly of Wisconsin's memorable past. They are true collectors' items for those who cherish Wisconsin.
