The Toronto Film Festival attendee's of 2006 were lucky enough to have Rob Tencer and the Aye celebrity designer suite located in Yorkville at 92 Scollard Street in Michael Crispel's Earth Salon providing full service at no charge.
The suite was hidden beneath the salon and contained a plethora of over 175 designer dresses and gowns from Canada's best designers like Pat McDonagh, Stephen Caras, Nina Duong, Thien Le, and Brenda Beddome. The style suite also featured exquisite matching jewelry from Miss+Miss, Monique and Yorkville's own Accessity. Catering by chozenstyliztics and catering by design.
Once the dress and jewelry were picked out, and the fittings (on premises) were completed, the celebrity would continue their red carpet transformation with hair and make-up being provided by the Earth salon celebrity stylists.
The convenience of getting everything done before a red carpet press event, was unmatched by any other service in the festival. No longer is it the gifts that the celebrities prefer, but the A-list, white glove treatment that the Aye suite provides. In addition to these unique qualities being offered at no charge, this service was done for not only A-list, but for any actor or actress in any of the 360 movies at the festival, as well as their agents, managers, publicists, directors, producers, and their families.
