Women and Men Beat the Bulge with Liposuction Surgery
47% Increase In Moob Job And Lipo Enquiries In Last Year. Liposuction Is Now Third Most Popular Procedure.

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, September 25, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In response to the recent report on the increase in men and women having liposuction - men to the their chest areas ('moob jobs') and women to their lower back ('muffin tops') - the Transform Cosmetic Surgery Group can reveal liposuction is now their third most popular procedure, with a staggering 47% increase in liposuction enquiries in the past year.

According to statistics, the number of men having liposuction to their chest area at Transform clinics has doubled and liposuction enquiries from women have increased by 54% since September 2008.

Liposuction is now Transform's third most popular procedure, after breast surgery such as breast augmentation, uplifts and reductions; and facial surgery such as rhinoplasty, faclifts and upper and lower blehpoplasty's.

With increasing scrutiny from the media on both male and female celebrity's weight, men and women have never been under as much pressure to look good. Coupled with increasing relaxed attitudes towards liposuction and other weight loss procedures, these factors have resulted in a massive surge in men and women seeking their perfect figure through liposuction.

Says Cindy Simmons from Transform: "Liposuction has always had a large amount of enquiries in the past, but breast augmentations and facial surgery made up the majority of calls. However, liposuction's popularity has surged in the past year, with increasing numbers of calls month on month.
"Noticeable trends our call centres have noticed are men calling in regards to having liposuctions on their chest to rid them of their 'man boobs' and women having liposuction on their stomachs and lower backs."
