Women of Distinction Magazine Selects Dawn Lang as a Distinguished Professional in Her Field

    FISHERS, IN, August 30, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dawn Lang, Chief Executive Officer of Perception Access Inc. and Equity Owner of Safekeeping LLC, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Dawn Lang will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Women of Distinction Magazine in 2016/2017.

As CEO of Perception Access since 2014, Dawn Lang helps clients clearly identify, define, and articulate their go-to market strategy while providing smart, executional tactics that drive it. Using her expertise in brand management, business development, and marketing strategy, the company's sweet spot is the healthcare continuum and technology matrix that connects patients, physicians, providers, payers, pharmacy, and wellness. As Equity Owner and former partner of Safekeeping LLC, Lang has focused on business development, marketing, and operations, securing two beta partners and strategic technology partners, developing onboarding resources for beta partners and operational strategy, and establishing marketing strategy, resources, and media coverage.

Lang's mother passed away of a stroke at the age of 41, when she was just 12-years-old. Since that time, she has been greatly influenced by the importance of good health and healthcare.

"My mom's sudden death impressed upon me the importance of healthy living," Lang said. "Collectively, we are all on a personal journey to discover and live our purpose and I'm on a personal mission to inspire others to be healthy and make better lifestyle choices through awareness, education, and exercise."

Lang has worked with Fortune 500 clients in the life science and consumer packaged goods industry as a marketing and agency partner for their brands. She's gained a solid understanding of healthcare and how hospitals, physicians, insurers, pharmacy benefits managers, pharmaceutical, retail, and patients all engage and connect with one another, has also come to understand the power and influence technology has on the field, and has made her much more aware of just how much more empowered patients have become.

Lang is an active board member for Village2Village Project, a non-profit in Uganda that helps orphaned, vulnerable children who have at least one parent who have been affected by HIV/AIDS or some form of violence. She's also the former president of the Healthcare Businesswoman's Association of Indiana where she served as board member and advisor for more than eight years. Lang is the recipient of numerous awards throughout her career as well, including a Rookie of the Year Award, Sales Rep of the Year Award, and Team of the Year Award.
