TEMPLE, GA, November 07, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Sheree Price, Co-Owner, Lee Fabricators, LLC, has been recognized as a Distinguished Professional in her field through Women of Distinction Magazine. Sheree Price will be featured in the upcoming edition in 2015/2016.
Originally, Lee Fabricators, LLC was formed in 1977 in a barn that Sheree Price's father had constructed. With two employees working alongside him, Ms. Price's grandfather, Gordon Price, and her, Ms. Price would clean, package, and drill stainless steel feet for commercial stoves, grab bars for hospitals, and handles for big stoves, as well as a number of other tasks, all the while working toward her college degree. Moving on to enjoy 31 years as a successful teacher, become a mother of three children, one of which has down's syndrome, and continually stay active in the growth of her father's business, Ms. Price enjoyed every moment of it.
Upon retirement from her career in education, Ms. Price again became heavily involved with Lee Fabricators, helping her parents and learning how to run and maintain a growing company that is now employing 60 people. Attending meetings, monitoring all of the money that was coming in and out, and making sure that the company was being run smoothly and efficiently quickly became her biggest responsibilities.
"My parents were very poor growing up during the Great Depression. My father was raised by parents who worked the land and moved often, sharecropping the land. My mother was very gifted and graduated as valedictorian of her class. Their hard work, determination, and winning spirit enabled them to build a multi-million dollar company and they have since entrusted this business to me. It means the world to me and it is my desire to grow the business into an even larger company, which, in return, will bless my family and the community," Ms. Price said, who now serves as Co-Owner.
Ms. Price earned a BS in Psychology, a Master's in Education, and her specialist degree in Leadership Education. In 2016, she will be receiving her MBA with a concentration in Small Business. She was All State for three years in a row and was named Most Valuable Player during her time in high school. She also received a college scholarship for basketball. As a teacher, she was named Teacher of the Year and Coach of the Year for her school's division. During her time spent with Lee Fabricators, the business won the title of Industry of the Year in 2012 and was also nominated for that same award in 2014.
