Woodbridge Pacific Group Unites Homebuilding Activity With Community Outreach

Civic Commitments Highlight Company's La Quinta & Palm Springs Neighborhoods

"Contributing to positive activities in the communities where we build is a natural expansion of the quality goals we pursue for new homes and neighborhoods," said WPG's Todd Cunningham.

MISSION VIEJO, CA, March 10, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- As it brings new home neighborhoods to La Quinta and Palm Springs, Orange County-based homebuilder/developer Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG) also commits to supporting the larger community of the California desert. The company's sponsorship of the Polo America Classic in La Quinta is a recent example.

Featuring a polo game, auction, luncheon and fashion show, the Polo America Classic will be held March 12 at the Empire Polo Club in La Quinta. Proceeds benefit the Barbara Sinatra Center for Abused Children, and Polo America President Randy Russell noted that 2016 marks the 21st year of support from the polo community.

"We are very proud to have Woodbridge Pacific Group as a sponsor," said Russell. "Their generosity is helping us achieve our goals for a truly worthy cause, and we are delighted to have a company of their caliber embrace this event."

WPG's sponsorship features a limited edition polo sculpture, which is on display at La Quinta Resort and Spa. The statue will be auctioned at the March 12 event, with proceeds benefiting the Barbara Sinatra Center. See more details by clicking Magazine at www.poloamerica.com.

WPG's polo sponsorship coincides with the grand opening of Monterra PGA WEST , the company's new luxury home neighborhood in La Quinta's sought after lifestyle community. WPG will also lend support to the tennis community at the BNP Paribas Open, which runs March 7 through 20 in Indian Wells. In January, WPG's sponsorship boosted Career Builder week in Palm Desert.

"Contributing to the positive activities of these organizations is a natural expansion of the quality goals we pursue for new homes and neighborhoods," said WPG Principal and co-founder Todd Cunningham. "We are delighted to be part of the La Quinta and Palm Springs communities."

Monterra celebrated grand opening in late February, as more than 275 area home shoppers toured Monterra model homes. Priced from the high $700,000s, four single-level plans range in size from 3,180 to 3,642 square feet, and each Monterra home includes its own private, enclosed pool and spa. Homesites are 9,200 to 15,000 square feet, situated on cul-de-sac streets framed by a beautiful mountain backdrop. Telephone 760-771-2100, daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Opening later this year is Skye, an enclave neighborhood within walking distance of Palm Springs' vibrant downtown. Inspired by mid-century modern architecture, its 40 luxury homes will be situated on homesites that are a minimum of 14,000 square feet. Home sizes are approximately 3,322 to 3,933 square feet, in 5 unique single-level designs.

Woodbridge Pacific Group is an established homebuilder/developer that brings architecturally distinctive homes to desirable locations, with floorplan designs and amenities geared to well-researched buyer preferences. The company is based in Mission Viejo, California, and active in Riverside, Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Kern Counties.

As it pursues a broader scope of new home development, WPG adheres to the semi-custom design/build criteria that have always guided its work. "WPG's high standards in building new homes are equaled by its way of doing business," said Mollie Carmichael, Principal of John Burns Real Estate Consulting. "WPG demonstrates exceptional competence, experience and integrity in all of their pursuits, and we look forward to their continued outstanding success."
