Whether you are on the water, in the shipyard or on a rig, we want to know what your workboat day looks like.

NEW ORLEANS, LA, August 18, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- From welding in a shipyard to plying the Gulf on an OSV or piloting a towboat on the inland rivers, it's all in a day's work in the workboat industry. Capturing a day in the life of the commercial marine industry is the theme of the 2017 Workboat magazine photo contest, which runs through Aug. 31.

"Whether you are on the water, in the shipyard or on a rig, we want to know what your workboat day looks like," said David Krapf, editor in chief of WorkBoat.

The grand prize winner's photo will adorn the cover of the 2018 WorkBoat Calendar, receive a free conference pass to the International WorkBoat Show in New Orleans, Nov. 30 through Dec. 1, and a WorkBoat Swag Bag. Weekly contest winners will receive a WorkBoat Swag Bag.

The winners are chosen by WorkBoat editors and the number of Facebook shares. "You need votes for consideration for the weekly prizes," Krapf said. "Share your pictures and the more shares you receive, the more votes you receive."
