CORK, IRELAND, April 04, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Most businesspeople have to give a presentation at one time or another. Usually they struggle to find an effective way to get their message across. And usually they fail. Research has shown that people forget at least 60% of the content of a typical PowerPoint presentation within one hour! Now WCS has launched a new series of PowerPoint animations to tackle this problem.

CEO Pat Hough explains the reason for the launch: "We want to help businesspeople become more effective at getting their message across. We have review the scientific research and it's very clear that the typical PowerPoint presentation is not effective - and can never be. The reason is that people have a low boredom threshold. They need visual stimuli and most presentations don't provide it. However, our new series of animations have been designed to do just that."

However, that same research has shown that it takes more than visual stimuli to get the point across. Pat Hough explains: "If you introduce some clipart or an animated graphic and it's not directly related to the point you are making then it will be counter productive. The audience will concentrate on the graphic and they won't register what you are saying. It's absolutely essential that presenters only use animations that support the point they are making."

The new series of PowerPoint animations from World Class Solutions have been tagged to show exactly where they should be used. For example, one animation is designed to be used when a group has failed to meet their deadlines while another will help get people thinking outside the box.

Over the coming months Pat Hough and his team will be adding to the animations on the site. They would also be interested in hearing from anyone who has a requirement that isn't already met by the animations that are currently available. The new series of animations is now available on-line at http://www.wclass.com/powerpoint-animations.html
