/24-7PressRelease/ -- Senior Pastor Andy Thompson, founder of World Overcomers Christian Church (http://www.wocconline.org), a nondenominational church serving worshippers in North Carolina's Research Triangle Park community, has announced that the church will host a night of praise and worship with Grammy Award-winning Christian artist and worship leader Israel Houghton on Wednesday, March 7 at 7 p.m. at 2933 S. Miami Blvd. in Durham. Houghton will also be accompanied by his band, New Breed. World Overcomers Christian Church's worship team and band, Frontline, will start the show. The event will be conducted in conjunction with an open house and church tours. Houghton, currently a worship minister at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas, also heads the band New Breed, winner of seven Dove awards, two Stellar awards, a Soul Train award and four Grammy Awards. Houghton's unique style of gospel music is designed to energize and inspire audiences with the message of God's love and his heart for all peoples.
