Worldwide Who's Who Names Carolina M. Costa Executive of the Year in Pharmaceutical Marketing

Costa Carlsen, a New Product Planning, Business Development & Established Portfolio Manager for Pfizer, Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Executive of the Year in Pharmaceutical Marketing. Ms. Costa has 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical product planning and marketing. As the new product planning and business development manager for Pfizer, she is highly skilled at overseeing all steps that go into the commercial release of a new product. This includes creativity, marketing, product planning and sales force development. Ms. Costa is responsible for overseeing the development of new drugs and conducting assessments of new drugs. Currently, she is launching the platform in order to bring four new products to the market, and crafting and executing strategies to ensure growth of the Established porfolio for Pfizer Peru to market EP product portfolio. In the near future, Ms. Costa intends to experience growth — on a personal and professional level — while running a business unit.

Ms. Costa received an MBA in 1996 from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts in management with a minor in French from Regis College, Massachusetts. She is the treasurer for Be a Part of a Miracle (an association that helps children without medical resources to get medical treatment) and is a member of the board of WEConnect Peru, a corporate-led non-profit, that helps build sustainable communities by empowering women business owners to succeed in local and global markets.
