MASON, OH, May 23, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Elizabeth A. Kautzmann has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Product Management. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Having built her first laser at the age of nine, Ms. Kautzmann has dedicated 26 years of service to the field. For the past four years, she has worked as a laser product manager, where she works on initiatives to foster and promote new CO2 and alternate laser market development. Her daily responsibilities include promotion of laser technology applying the company's lasers, researching laser market trends, and developing applications for high-speed laser cutting, welding and cladding at a lower cost. She also developes mapping strategies to migrate conventional manufacturing processes to laser processes. In addition, she conducts presentations on new technology at the academic level.

An alumnus of Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Ms. Kautzmann earned three associate of science degrees in laser optics, electronic engineering and industrial laboratory disciplines. Moreover, she is accredited as a certified laser safety officer by the Laser Institute of America, and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. In her spare time, Ms. Kautzmann serves as the chairman of the Fabricators & Manufacturers Association, Industrial Laser Council. She is also affiliated with Women in Manufacturing.
