Worldwide Who's Who Names Kathe S. Perez Entrepreneur of the Year in Speech-Language Pathology

Perez, a speech-language pathologist at Exceptional Voice, Inc., has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Entrepreneur of the Year in Speech-Language Pathology. The founder and president of Exceptional Voice Inc in Denver, Colo., and a certified speech-language pathologist, Perez is a pioneer in providing voice feminization therapy for the transgender community. Having once dreamed of becoming a singer, Perez became involved in her profession after recognizing that she could help aspiring vocalists as a speech pathologist.

In 1993, Kathe undertook doctorate coursework at the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS) at the University of Colorado Boulder. She received her Master of Arts degree from the University of Colorado Boulder in 1986. She studied under famed SLHS Professor Lorraine Ramig, PhD, at the University of Colorado Boulder and interned with one of the top voice specialists in the world, Robert Sataloff, MD, Philadelphia, PA. She is a certified speech-language pathologist and a member of the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
