Worldwide Who's Who Names Kermit P. Bonovich, MD Professional of the Year in Health Care

    KINGSVILLE, MD, December 21, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kermit P. Bonovich, MD has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Health Care. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

In 1977, Dr. Bonovich assisted in establishing the first hospital in a society where one previously had to go miles in order to reach a health care center. Determined to give back to his community, he served as the medical director and director of medicine. Today, he brings nearly five decades of experience to the health care industry. He currently provides basic patient care through his private practice, and also treats and administers care for inmates at a local prison. Furthermore, he reviews laboratory reports for surgical processes, prescribes medication and evaluates all patients.

Dr. Bonovich wrote and published the novel "Waking Up Emily," which is based on real-life observations of an anesthesia department of a large metropolitan hospital. He also co-authored "No Weight Loss Gimmicks" and is working on his third manuscript, "Deadly Consequences and Convenient Heroes." Dr. Bonovich's talents extends to his family as well. His wife, Ruth, has written and published a book of poetry titled, "Reflections and Impressions." His son is a successful neurointerventionalist while his daughter serves in the U.S. Air Force Advocate General as a Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Bonovich attributes his immeasurable success to his dedication and aspiration to make things better for his patients. He also credits his education, which includes a Bachelor of Arts in zoology and an MD, both from the University of Maryland. An honoree of Biltmore Who's Who, he looks forward to continue to run his practice.

Dr. Bonovich was involved in establishing and supporting Grandview Christian Church. In his spare time, he enjoys home remodeling, weight control counseling and writing.
