Worldwide Who's Who Names Norma Roth, JD, Professional of the Year in Law

    LINCOLN, NH, April 18, 2012 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Norma Roth, lawyer, educator, and writer has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Law. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

During a career that has spanned 27 years in the legal field, Ms. Roth has perfected her writing skills and her knowledge of law. Norma Roth is a partner in the firm Jackman & Roth LLP, specializing in labor and employment law, civil rights, and federal workers' compensation. She offers consulting services, conducts research, and writes. She has also been an advocate for the advancement of women in both the private and public sectors and was a recipient of the Elizabeth Dole Award for Outstanding Women in Government. Recently, she also was awarded the National Association of Professional Women's "Outstanding Woman of the Year Award for 2010-2011."

Ms. Roth served as Chief of Labor Relations for the New England Region of the Federal Aviation Administration from 1986-91. She joined the firm of Jackman & Roth in 1991 and recently was accepted to the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in the U.S. given to those attorneys who have achieved the highest possible peer review rating in both legal ability and ethical standards.

Norma Roth, Esq. holds an undergraduate degree in English from City University of NY - Hunter College, a master's degree from Simmons College, and a JD from Suffolk Law School, both in Boston. Ms. Roth also held positions at Harvard University as Assistant to the Director of Public Information and Director of Summer School Admissions.

In her capacity as writer, Ms. Roth has authored two poetry books and is the author of "Aging Gracefully With Dignity, Integrity and Spunk Intact; Aging Defiantly," and has recently published her book: "Journey Into A Dark Past, Land of My Ancestors, Budapest, Vienna & Prague". As an independent scholar, she is currently working on an article she intends to expand into a book entitled "Leadership Training Though Classical Literature for A Global Market." Ms. Roth intends to continue both her law practice and writing.
