Worldwide Who's Who Names Robert D. Lindeman Professional of the Year in Systems Engineering

Lindeman, Vice President of Raytheon Company, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in systems engineering. Mr. Lindeman is a highly accomplished professional in the systems engineering field, breaking ground with 33 years of professional experience. After earning a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Calvin College in 1977; a Bachelor of Science in computer engineering in 1978, and a Master of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1979, he embarked on a career with Raytheon Company, a defense and aerospace systems company that offers systems engineering and program management, space and airborne systems, naval sensors and systems integration, missile systems, network centric systems, cyber-security, intelligence systems, homeland defense and mission support. Since joining the company, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering and program management, including serving as the senior director, chief engineer and system architect.

Currently, he serves as the vice president of mission assurance. An expert in business systems consolidation and systems architecture, Mr. Lindeman is responsible for managing program excellence in areas of project management certification, process framework and earned value deployment, overseeing product quality and performance excellence, implementing procedures, maintaining quality mission assurance, auditing and assessment, and organizational budget reduction. Reflecting back on his achievements, he credits his success to his leadership skills and technical education. After a long and successful career, Mr. Lindeman retired from the defense industry on August 1st. He aspires to shift to the infrastructure industry in areas of high-speed rail, healthcare, renewable energy, or business systems consolidation. Looking at his past accomplishments, it is evident that he will rise as a prominent entrepreneur within any industry he chooses. In the near future, he will enjoy his retirement and attain growth on both a personal and a professional level.

Distinguished as an esteemed executive in his industry, Mr. Lindeman maintains affiliations with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the National Defense Industrial Association. His outstanding services at Raytheon earned him a Chief Executive Officer's Award from the company in 2003. Aside from his professional endeavors, Mr. Lindeman supports Habitat for Humanity International and the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank.
