Worldwide Who's Who Names Stephen A. Beemish Professional of the Year in Insurances Services

Beemish, senior vice president of commercial insurance for HUB International, has been named a Worldwide Who's Who Professional of the Year in Insurances Services. While inclusion in Worldwide Who's Who is an honor, only a small selection of members in each discipline are chosen for this distinction. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Worldwide Who's Who membership.

Mr. Beemish has 28 years of experience in insurances services, with five years of experience as senior vice president of commercial insurance for HUB International. With a total understanding that sales is a "people" business, he is responsible for evaluating risks and growing the business. This has included the management of a 75-person department — half of which are sales people. His roles also included Vice President of Claims for many years. In doing so, he exerts his complete understanding of all lines of commercial insurance to help his teams prosper. Mr. Beemish has recently passed the leadership torch on and has returned to handling a large portfolio of commercial accounts.

Mr. Beemish received an associate degree in business management and industrial relations from Kwantlean College and an associate degree in insurance from the Insurance Institute of Canada. He holds a Canadian accredited insurance broker designation and a chartered insurance professional designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada. He is a member of the Vancouver Board of Trade and the Canada Alarm and Security Association.
