Worldwide Who's Who Names Susan M. Boyetchko, Ph.D. Professional of the Year in Agricultural Science

In her current capacity, she utilizes extensive expertise in the research of biopesticides when leading a research team and working for the federal government's Science and Technology branch. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is a research and technology government department that supports scientific research initiatives. Dr. Boyetchko received her Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta. She is also a former president of the Canadian Weed Science Society and Canadian Forum for Biological Control. In the coming years, Dr. Boyetchko plans to expand her research network and work on some new biopesticide projects for plant diseases and weeds relevant to global agricultural issues.
