MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, October 20, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/
-- Enterprise IT professionals recognize the value of a service-oriented architecture (SOA) for enabling new business applications with existing infrastructure and responding to changing market conditions with greater agility. However, real-world SOA implementations are often stalled by poorly aligned deployment strategies and the numerous challenges of integrating heterogeneous environments.
Now enterprise IT architects and software developers who attend the WSO2 SOA Workshop can learn proven, pragmatic and affordable approaches for successfully implementing SOAs--and avoiding common SOA project pitfalls. The one-day workshop will be held Tuesday, November 3, at the Techmart in Santa Clara, CA, and it will run 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The cost is only $75 per person to attend. The WSO2 SOA Workshop is part of WSO2's ongoing commitment to educating and mentoring IT professionals. It builds on the popular WSO2 SOA Summer School webinar series that ran June 18-August 19, 2009 and drew more than 1,000 participants online. As with the Summer School program, the SOA Workshop sessions are being taught by the same industry-leading technical experts behind WSO2's professional consulting, design and training services.
Architecture Patterns for Successful SOAs
SOA Workshop attendees will gain an overall understanding of SOA concepts and approaches to implementing end-to-end SOA solutions, as well as review SOA enterprise architecture patterns that work, along with some that don't. Additional sessions will dive into SOA implementation scenarios for an enterprise service bus (ESB), security, mashups, governance, and business process management (BPM). Also included will be a discussion on how using languages such as C, C++, and PHP can provide better SOA performance.
