RICHMOND, VA December 31, 2008
/24-7PressRelease/ -- Wynne Residential Corporate Housing exhibited at the Virginia 2009 Society of Human Resource Managers Fall Conference beginning on October 21, 2008. Over 600 SHRM members were in attendance for the event held at the Convention Center located in Downtown Richmond. In addition, 80 companies were present to exhibit during the tradeshow portion of the conference. There were various seminars for the SHRM members to attend as well as free time to tour the exhibition hall and speak with the vendors to learn about their products and services. The conference scavenger hunt was organized for the attendees on the last day. Wynne had the opportunity to meet SHRM members for different companies throughout the state of Virginia as well as members from state and local governments. The state conference in 2010 will be held in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Richmond Association of Realtors was held Realtor Fest on October 28th at the Convention Center in Richmond, Virginia. This year there were over 1500 people in attendance. The RAR has been providing support to its more than 5,800 members, realtors, and affiliates for over 125 years.
The exhibitors at the Realtor Fest ranged from CBS 6 and Segway of Richmond, to Homes & Land Magazine. Realtors from all over Virginia were able to attend various classes and seminars throughout the day. Some of these classes included "Dealing with a Changing Market", "High Visibility", and "How It Is, Is Not How It Was".
During breaks attendees could focus on the tradeshow, where they spoke with the over 150 exhibitors. The exhibitor offered information on their company and product, as well as many different giveaways. Most exhibitors gave away pens, pads, tote bags, cups displaying their logo, and various promotional materials. The Realtors walked away with information about many companies throughout Virginia that can help them as well as their clients.
There was also a luncheon for all exhibitors and Realtors where US Congressman Eric Cantor spoke. At the end of the day they revealed the winners of the many door prizes that the different exhibitors had given away. Realtor Fest is held every 2 years, and proves to be growing in success and numbers.
Wynne Residential was an exhibitor at the Realtor Fest, and can offer a great service to many Realtors. Wynne Residential gave away a promotional bag containing pens, pads, cups, and information about the company. They also gave away a digital picture frame for one lucky Realtor.
