Yankee Trails World Travel Announces 'Cruise Express,' Weekly Bus Service to New York City and Bayonne, N.J.
Over 75 dates are available for shuttle to-and-from Manhattan and New Jersey Cruise Ships
/24-7PressRelease/ - RENSSELAER, NY, March 28, 2007 - Yankee Trails World Travel is pleased to announce that they have launched the 'Cruise Express,' making it easy and affordable for Tech Valley travelers to get to and from the Cruise Pier on the West Side of Manhattan and the Cape Liberty Pier in Bayonne, N.J.
Cruisers currently drive and pay for parking, take a train to Penn Station or take a public bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal. Yankee Trails will provide the service to Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Carnival, Holland America, and Norwegian (NCL) cruise ships. The 'Cruise Express' will offer door-to-door shuttle service between Yankee Trails World Travel's corporate offices and the docked Cruise Ships.
"We recognized that there is challenge for regional travelers wishing to take a cruise from New York City and Bayonne. The options are very costly," said Stephen Tobin, President of Yankee Trails World Travel. "The Cruise Express eliminates the need to park in Manhattan, or take a combination of bus, train and taxi. That's door-to-door service for $40 one-way or $80 round trip."
Yankee Trails was founded in 1957. In 1999, the company became Yankee Trails World Travel and has grown beyond a bus company into the Capital Region's premier travel agency.
