Founded by Ginger Garner, MPT, ATC, E-RYT500 over seven years ago, the program has been recognized in publications such as The International Journal of Yoga Therapy, Yoga Journal, and Idea Fit. Garner says, "Our program allows professionals, such as nurses, chiropractors, and physical therapists, to receive certification for a form of treatment that expands the options they can provide their patients. We are the first Comprehensive school for yoga therapy that offers continuing education credits (CEUs) in the state of North Carolina, and have been approached by two universities to help develop a similar curriculum."
