Young Chun Ko Presented with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who's Who

    JEOLLANAM-Do, REPUBLIC OF KOREA, November 15, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Young Chun Ko, PhD, with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Dr. Ko celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. A university professor at Sehan (old name: Daebul) University, Dr. Ko has been teaching in both the school of liberal arts and graduate school of education for the past 11 years. He formerly taught in the department of nano-chemical/environmental engineering between 1998 and 2006, while also serving as a member of the university's civil defense corps. Well-rounded in both fields, Dr. Ko first earned a PhD in Chemistry at Chonnam National University in 1995 before returning to school to complete a second PhD in Education at Chonbuk National University, which he acquired in 2007.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ko has conducted research in critical micelle concentration, graphene, rubber tire, porous silicon, replica, rugate filter, bragg filter, and learning strategies. He has also contributed numerous articles to scientific journals, and has been the recipient of several Best Paper Awards, including one in 2008 at the 15th International Symposium on Organosilicon Chemistry, a second one in 2008 at the International Conference on Nano Science and Nanotechnology, and a third in 2009, which was granted by the Gwangju Jeonnam Branch of the Korean Chemical Society.

Born in Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, Republic of Korea, Dr. Ko has been married for nearly 23 years and has two children. Recognized by being included in Who's Who in Asia and Who's Who in the World several times, he has also been awarded with several accolades by the American Biographical Institute for his work, and has been named a 2009 Honorary Professor for Research Achievement at Sehan University in 2010. When he isn't busy in the classroom, Dr. Ko enjoys time well-spent with his family. He also enjoys mountain climbing, skiing and travelling.
