Yung Cheng Joseph Chen Celebrates 30 Years of Practiced Industry Experience

    CERRITOS, CA, September 02, 2015 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yung Cheng Joseph Chen, MD, MPH, Life Fellow, APA, Medical Doctor has been recognized for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Recognized for three decades of invaluable contributions to his field, Dr. Chen parlays his knowledge into his role with his own medical practice. On a day-to-day basis, in his role as a medical doctor, he treats children, adolescent and adult patients in the area of psychiatry. He is fluent in Taiwanese and Mandarin, so he also sees foreign clients.

A certified psychiatrist, Dr. Chen outshines others in his field due to a combination of his prior industry experiences and his educational background, which includes an MD from National Taiwan University. He also did his fellowship in child psychiatry through UCLA, and did his residency in general psychiatry through UCSF. He maintains a connection to his industry outside of his job through his affiliations with the American Psychiatry Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Throughout his notable career, he has won many awards, including the On-Time Doctor Award in 2014, and a Patients' Choice Award in 2012 and 2014. Looking ahead, Dr. Chen aspires to continue to provide the best services for his patients while winding down and preparing for his retirement.
