Zalmai Azmi Named to Exclusive Membership Organization

    ALEXANDRIA, VA, July 1, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Zalmai Azmi, Senior Vice President of CACI International Inc., has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of information technology.

As the Senior VP of CACI International Inc., Mr. Azmi is responsible for maintaining leadership in delivering information technology solutions for securing the Cyberspace. Previously, he served for five years as the CIO for the FBI, and prior to that for four years as the CIO of Executive Office for the United States Attorney's office. Mr. Azmi is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He attributes his success to developing actionable strategies and surrounding himself with knowledgeable people and working as a team to execute the strategy.

Mr. Azmi received his MS from George Washington University in 1997. He serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Council for the University of North America, a member of the Information Technology Council (ITAC) for the Kogod School of Business at the American University, a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association's (AFCEA) Intelligence Committee. He is also on the National Board of Directors at Infragard.

Mr. Azmi is also the recipient of the Presidential Rank of Distinguished Executive Award, the President G.W. Bush Award for Excellence in Counterterrorism, the Arthur S. Flemming Award for Excellence in Applied Science and Technology, Two Bronze Medals from the Department of Commerce, and numerous military medals and Commendations.
