With 10 years of experience in technology and analytics, Mr. Thorn specializes in human resource and healthcare analytics, information systems design, Microsoft-based technologies, and project management. As benefits tech lead for Mercer, a human resources consulting firm, he directs the technical aspects of benefits product lines, leads the product development team, interacts with business owners with regards to human resources services, discusses desirable products for employees, and analyzes requests, puts them into technical terms and then into terms of software. Mr. Thorn always had a fascination for technology and worked on short-term projects on healthcare applications for the state government, eventually deciding to stay in the field. He credits his success to his determination and hard work.
Mr. Thorn graduated magna cum laude from the American InterContinental University with a Bachelor of Information Systems and Technology, and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Louisville. A member of the National Speleological Society, he spends his free time exploring caves. He aspires to get involved in management consulting and improve his knowledge of the technology aspect of the business
