/24-7PressRelease/ -- Zarafa will celebrate the fifth anniversary of its SummerCamp in Kerkrade (the Netherlands) on Thursday 30th of June and Friday 1st of July 2011. Not only many application vendors and open source distributions will be represented, also industry leaders like Capgemini, Red Hat and IBM, governmental catalysts, well known industry analysts, internationally renowned Linux experts, Informatics Education Centers and the Zarafa Business Partner Network will attend the open source 'hot spot' of this Summer.
A full list of sessions is posted covering a wide range of topics from general overviews and the roadmap, scaling & storage and secure cloud & archiving setups to technical user driven innovation sessions that include workshops on how to create add-ons for the new Zarafa WebApp and community sessions like f.e. working with the recently launched Zarafa Community Hub.
On Thursday keynote addresses will include talks from Roberto Galoppini and Davide Galletti about the score of the Zarafa ecosystem on open source maturity, licensing, adoption and leadership and Bart Lindeboom, Director ICT of the Dutch city council Ede will share his experiences with the implementation of the open desktop and the role of archiving. Later in the day, the focus is on TCO studies in 2011 and public sector. The second day of the SummerCamp is dominated by Z-Push, community sessions, workshops and hands-on labs.
The SummerCamp has cemented its position at the top of European open source vendor events, through even higher attendance numbers and intensified contributions of community members and partners every year.
