Ms. Bayarsky has more than 25 years of professional experience. She excels in teaching conflict resolution to the hearing-impaired, having begun her career as an interpreter for the deaf. Prior to taking on her current position, she previously worked as a director of an agency. She stays current with the trends in her profession by attending seminars and conferences, reading industry-related publications and mentoring. Ms. Bayarsky feels that the important issue facing her profession is the general public's lack of awareness of the true communication needs of the deaf, which greatly affects how the hearing-impaired are treated in society.

A high school graduate, Ms. Bayarsky is affiliated with the California Association of the Deaf, the National Association of the Deaf and the Southern California Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf. Ms. Bayarsky aspires to become involved in video relay services within the next few years
